MEMORIAL DAY QUIZ: Found on ABOUT US & NEWSLETTER PAGE Bonner Springs Business & Professional Women (BPW/BS) A Message from Your President…I can't believe it has been a year since I was installed as president. Where has the year gone? I leave this office with happiness and sadness. I am happy we are still a viable and active organization. I am happy we gave so much financial help for students. I am happy we will still have good opportunities to make money to help more students. I am happy I am passing this office on to capable hands. But I am also sad. I am sad that most of the goals I set for myself were not reached. I am sad that we don't have more young women in our organization. I am sad that personal affairs kept me from putting all of my effort for Bonner Springs Business and Professional Women. I am sad that legislative agendas are not my strong suit.BPW has taught me so many things. When I worry about the future of us, I remember our history and I want to "keep the faith" our local foremothers started. Our history should be the roots that feed our determination to continue the fight. It should keep us rooted in the goals of BPW. I think of the buds that come to the plant. They bloom and have such beauty. You, my friends, are the blossoms that make me want to continue being a part of this organization. It makes me want to find buds (new members) that will bloom as a result of being a member. Which brings me to the saying, "Bloom where you are planted." Let's remember to continue to do that so as Bonner Springs Business and Professional Women. We are just as relevant now as we have been in the past. ----- Ann Taylor, PresidentDinner Meetings:Date - 2nd Tuesday of each month, normallyTime - 6:30 PMPlace - South Park, 246 Shadyside, Bonner Springs, KS 66012Cost - $7.00 mealContact - Jeannine - eMail: jg2330@aol.com, phone: (913)441-4217
